Abby's wedding

My beautiful cousin Abby was sealed to her husband Jesse. She looked gorgeous with her pearls and a feather in her hair- so classic!!! Capri was so happy to get a picture with the bride.

It is always wonderful to go back to the temple where Kirk and I were sealed. Now, almost 9 years later we have come so far and gone through so much together. We agree that our children are our greatest accomplishments.

Capri, Dad, Grandma Monroe, London, Me, Bruin and my Mom

The reception was held in my Aunt and Uncle's beautiful backyard. It was fun visiting with all my family on this joyous occasion. Can't wait for the next reason to head down.

And of course the boys had a blast on the dance floor! I was cracking up watching them dance to Justin Bieber and Micheal Jackson. I had to drag Bruin off of the dance floor when it was time to go home.

Whale Watching

We ventured down to Newport for a whale watching trip. We had fun just being together and watching the kids have their first experience on a boat. They loved it. We didn't see any whales or dolphins, but the kids still thought it was great.
Hudson wasn't too sure about the boating experience and spent most of his time in the galley eating candy.
Even London came along for the ride. We had help from Joy and from June, which made it so much easier. London seemed to enjoy the rocking of the ship and slept a lot of the time.

Afterward we headed down to the beach and met up with the Salmon clan for a family bonfire. We were filthy and exhasted by the end of the night. We love making these family memories.

Thanks to Joy and Chris for taking us on a little adventure.

London's blessing day

Daddy getting London in her car seat and ready to head out for her big day

Our Beautiful Girl

The fancy dress for her big day

Kirk gave her a wonderful blessing and both he and I had the opportunity to share our testimonies. Neither of us do that very often. I avoid it because I get so emotional (if you don't believe me ask someone who was there Sunday) - not sure what Kirk's excuse is. We are so happy for London to be a part of our family and for the love she has brought into our home.
Thank you to everyone who shared this memoral day with us.

4th of July Festivities

We had a weekend full of fun and family. We kicked it off with the pancake breakfast with our "ward family."
Then headed out to San Diego to visit all the extended Monroe family. Bruin, Capri, and Kirk had a blast going down the slide and jumping off the rocks. Hudson enjoyed watching from a safe distance.

I was so happy to introduce London to Grandma Great and to many more of her extended family. I love them all sooooooooo much!
This is right before we were leaving San Diego. The kids were exhausted and everyone of them fell asleep in the car on the drive home.
The next day we had London's blessing and I took a picture of Grandma Kratzer all dressed for the 4th. We love having her close by now.
On Monday we did more celebrating over at Grandma Heaps (my mom's home). We BBQed up some meat and relaxed in the spa. I am so grateful for the freedom we have in this country so that I can worship God and teach my children about the Savior. I'm also so grateful that I have the choice to have children and have as many as I would like. Sometimes its easy to forget all the freedoms we enjoy, so its wonderful to have this day as a reminder.

Go Cart Racing

Daddy's birthday gift this year was a gocart racing gift card. We had fun watching he and his friend race around the track.

The kids had fun trying on the helmets- yuck!!!

How many sweaty men have been inside of that thing is what I was thinking.
