London's Cupcake Bash

On April 23rd my little girl turned one! Great joy fills my heart as I enjoy every smile, every laugh, and every new thing she learns. Seeing her personality come out is so much fun.

My mom always made me homemade cakes, so I've been trying to do the same for my kids. This was my first attempt with fondant. A giant cupcake to fit her cupcake themed party.

A big thanks to my wonderful friend Andrea for taking on the fondant adventure with me~don't think it would have turned out quite as well without your creative assistance.

London enjoyed eating 2 whole cupcakes!!!

Kids swam, and jumped on the bouncer. We ate big polish dogs and nachos, and just visited and enjoyed being together.
Its hard to believe that a year has gone passed already with London in our family, although for some reason I can hardly remember life without her. She is loved so much and brings great joy to our home each day. She has made our family feel so complete.

Wait a second, how come I don't remember that she was born on my birthday? How fun! Love her outfit too. Mckinley had that one when she was 3 months old and it was my favorite.
