Yellow belt

The last 5 months of school Bruin has been taking TaeKwonDo for P.E. He really did not like it at first. In fact, I had to go do an observation that day in order to get him to attend the 2nd class!!! He made it through and really began to enjoy it. Last week he had his graduation ceremony, and this is about how it went.

They showed us all that they learned, punches, kicks, push ups, sit ups, jumping things, and lots of yelling in cue.

Then it was a parents turn to come up and assist. Here's Kirk writing down bad habits that Bruin needs to literally break!

Not knowing that Bruin would have to read his bad habits in front of the whole class, Kirk wrote down a few silly and embarrassing ones including, "kissing too many girls!" When it came time for Bruin to read it, he wouldn't, so his Master told him to do push-up position. I felt soooo bad for him, but he was a good sport.

After some apologies from Daddy, and a few scratches with the pen it was time to....

He was so proud that he did it on the first try!

Then he was presented with his yellow belt, HAPPY BOY!
