task #1: get child #1 fed, dressed, and off to school
task #2: get child #2 & #3, and self fed, dressed, house cleaned, and over to a play date
(warning: getting self ready sounds easy, but watch out for child #3 throwing wrapped tampons into toilet. Luckily they do float, so they are easy to fish out!)
task #3: Make a return to home depot while trying to tackle #3 and trying to keep him from escaping to go play with a balloon display
task #4: FUN!!! Visit with sister and let kids play!
task #5: Get home in time for child #1 to make sure child has someone to come home to
task #6: Get all 3 children and self fed, house cleaned up again since the Relief Society pres. is coming over for a meeting
task #7: Get child #3 down for a nap and make sure other 2 have plenty of quiet things to do during 1 1/2 hour meeting
task #8: Surprise! Sister in need. Watch cute niece and nephew for 1 1/2 hours.
task #9: Shopping with all 3 kids. Hit Super Walmart and Sams Club- get all needed food and other items for the upcoming 1 1/2 weeks. (reminder: child #1 wants to buy a new toy with his own $, so it may take some extra time and Warning: make sure you have snacks for child #3 to keep him occupied while you are trying to shop for deals and using all clipped coupons-gotta make it worth it to buy the paper)
task #10: Take a break from cooking and hit Del Taco for TACO TUESDAY. Beware! The line will be long, so make sure your biceps are ready to hold child #3 for a looooooooong time while he is trying to escape so he can go hit, pull on, and pop the decorative balloons. Make sure you take the food to go because the groceries are melting in the trunk of the car.
task #11: Unload groceries, feed children, don't forget child #1 has homework to do!
task #12: Unload dishwasher, and load it back up. Don't worry! #3 will help you (Warning: he will climb on the dishwasher, and you have to repeatedly remove him. Make sure you get a cute pic of him for the blog!)
task #12: Baths (Warning child #3 has had a pooping problem in the bathtub twice this week all ready, and he will do it again!!!) Just fish it out, scrub down the bath, refill the tub and finish up.
task#13: Put #3 down or you might go crazy! Read to #1 &2, brush their teeth have them go potty and down to sleep.
task#14: Homework time!!! (for me that is)
task#15: Relax!!!! Reflect on how much you love your kids and how much you miss your husband when he is away at work for more than 24 hours.

You're amazing Joanna! You fit a lot into one day- with no husband, too!
We LOVE Taco Tuesday and go every week. We should meet up sometime!
Thanks for your post. It makes me a little less sad that I can't have kids. :)
That was so funny, I was laughing so hard!
What a day.... thanks for taking my kiddos... Julia ended up with a mini root canal and a nice porcelain filling (yes, I splurged, it was only $65). The best thing was that we were in and out of there in just over an hour, you have to switch to Dr. Lee. Julia was AMAZING, didn't even flinch the whole time. The dentist LOVES her! And I love my insurance.... :) :)
I think you have a tiny typo in there... child #3 doesn't do homework yet... does he? ha ha :)
Thanks- fixed the typo.
Ahhh the joys of Motherhood :) What a trooper you are! Hey we need to figure out a time that is good to get together k!
sounds like my days and nights....hang in there
